August 31 – September 3

Greenbelt’s Labor Day Festival is unique in that instead of simply renting out booths to the highest bidders, who may have little to do with the town, the food and carnival midway booths are sponsored by local organizations and are often staffed by their members. Even before the opening ceremony, the table tennis tournament gets under way at 5 p.m. in the Greenbelt Youth Center.
